Sweet little Matthew was such a trooper.  He let me move him and bend him and put him in cocoons…although, they boy did draw the line at hats!  He was not having the hats there for a while, but eventually, I got one that he tolerated and then he cracked a smile.  I love it when I catch newborns smiles.  I pretend that it means that they are having fun and loving having their pictures taken, even though I know in reality it’s just gas.  Yeah, I think I’ll just keep on pretending! :)

Another sweet newborn, I seem to be getting a lot of those lately! I first met little Brady when his Mom came in for maternity portraits.  Brady gave me quite a run for my money though.  He did not want to cooperate at first and he definitely showed me who was boss, but in the end he finally let me do what I wanted and we captured some priceless images because of it.

I *finally* got to meet baby Maya!  Her mom and big sister came in a few months ago for maternity portraits , and now we get to see the finished result, so to speak.  I have known this family for a while now - big sister Marin is the baby sleeping on the bed in the title bar above - and it’s always wonderful to watch them grow and expand.  Marin is quite the big sister too!  Maya was somewhat cooperative, she slept pretty well until feeding time came around and then watch out!  That girl can eat.  And of course, what goes in, must come out! :)  She christened the props pretty good to which we all got a laugh out of.

I first met Addison when she was 6 weeks old.  She was born a little early, so mom and dad had to wait a little to bring her in.  She was such a little peanut then, but she had no problem letting me know exactly who was boss then.  Well, the same rings true now.  I have seen her several times over the last year, but this was special.  This was her 1 year portraits.  She has changed so much in the last year, but the one thing that hasn’t… the tongue!  She has it sticking out at her newborn portraits, her Christmas portraits, her 6 month portraits and again!  It’s just do precious!

Sweet Jadyn!  You may recognize her from my website.  She is the little girl standing in the chair and also picking the berries off the ground.  Well, she came to see me again, this time for her 4 year old portraits.  She’s not as shy as she used to be!  This girl is full of personality and her expressions are priceless.  She could go from happy to pouting in 6 seconds.  I think she is going to be a great actress on day.  She definitely has a flair for the dramatic!
